Kamaal R Khan threatens to sue Madhubala poducers & Colors channel for using KRK in MEIEJ

The man who had been busy tweeting about Bigg Boss Season 7 all this while is now busy tweeting about Madhubala- Ek Ishq Ek Junoon. Incidentally, both the shows air on Colors.

It seems that the channel has made him its official marketing partner!!! Well, we are just kidding.
A few hours ago KRK tweet read – “This is my last warning to producers of serial #Madhubala n #Colors to not use my Name KRK for publicity or I shall be forced to file case.”

Soon after came another tweet that read – “Producers n #colors must remember tat KRK is TM for me n I can sue them for using it but I just don't want to do tat so pls stop using it.”

Let us tell you the entire story… The makers of Madhubala have created a new character named KRK who is a lookalike of RK (Vivian Dsena).

Now since, Kamal Rashid Khan is famously known as KRK, he wants the makers of the show to not use his above alias for “publicity”.

So are the producers of the show taking his warning seriously?

Well, let’s hear it from Producer Saurabh Tewari, “Our character’s name is Kewal Ram Khajua that is why it’s called KRK. We have used RK (Rishabh Kundra) for our male lead and if there would have been any problem then lot of people would have had an issue as it could have meant Raj Kapoor or Ranbir Kapoor. All I can is that KRK is trying to take advantage of our show, as Madhubala is a brand in itself.”

Which means you guys aren’t worried about anything at all, “I think too much of importance is being given to nothing at all. Had I wanted to take advantage of someone’s name I would have used SRK, why would I use KRK?”

Saurabh Raj Jain, who made appearances as the sutradhar Lord Krishna in 'Mahabharat' on Star Plus, will now have a full blown entry in the coming week, due to the popularity of the character.

Saurabh says, “I am getting wonderful reactions. I am glad that people I am doing justice to the role."

Saurabh continues, “Even the youth has been responding positively. I am so glad I am able to influence the youth with the Krishna interpretations. I feel all his teachings are so apt and even if 40 per cent people watch it, we can make a difference in the society. I get into the character completely. In fact these days I talk like Krishna in real life too."

The actor recalls an anecdote. “Once we were in the interiors of Gujarat when people came in to see me yelling, 'humko insaan nahi bhagwaan se milna hai'. I was shooting and I had to request them to be patient to meet me," he says.

Veera's friend Karan in Village, Will veera be able to save her friend from her brother Ranvijay..?

Jalal diguises as a choodiwala, stands against child marraige

Fighting for the cause of child-marriage, this week in Zee TV’s Jodha Akbar (Balaji Telefilms), viewers will see Akbar in a completely new and different look on the show. Going against all odds to help save a 14 year old girl from being forced into child marriage, Akbar (Rajat Tokas) will dress in disguise as a choodiwala in order to get to the root of the matter.

Understanding that a 14 year old girl from his kingdom is about to get married to a man double her age, Akbar along with some help from Jodha (Paridhi Sharma) takes up the cause of putting an end to the regressive tradition of child marriage in his kingdom. In order to investigate who the man is, Akbar dresses up as a choodiwala so as to not to be recognized by the henchmen of his kingdom. In his attempt to unearth the truth behind this child marriage, Akbar discovers that it is none other than his evil step-brother Adham Khan who has forced the marriage upon the poor girl by offering her greedy father the lure of riches.

Donning a completely different look for the sequence, actor Rajat Tokas as the ‘choodiwala’ is a stark departure from his usual look of Emperor Akbar. Wearing a long robe and sporting a scraggly beard, Rajat looks quite convincing as a Mughal choodiwala.

About this special sequence, Rajat said, “I had no idea what a choodiwala back in the Mughal era looked like until I donned this unique look. I quite enjoyed getting into this character as it was quite different in terms of get-up, body language, demeanor and style of dialogue delivery. It is intriguing that an emperor should go to such great lengths to get to the bottom of a serious issue and take a strong stand against malpractices in his kingdom. "I am doing again a historical show that mean not come back to historical shows or I am in love with historical characters but yes it's true that I like these characters as I love playing a man. I did Tere Liye where I played a grey character which was very different from Prithviraj and Dharam Veer . Ekta experimented with me but then I wanted to do something more powerful and I am happy that Jodha Akbar was offered to me. I don't think I will get to play such a powerful character in a daily soap. I am not saying that daily soaps are boring but it is something I don't like.

Historical shows are very different from daily soaps and I can say that as I have done three historical shows. In daily soaps you are just an observer or onlooker. You don't have anything to do in a daily soap and yet you are the main lead of the show. "I don't understand the logic behind the saas-bahu sagas on small screen. Hence, I prefer strong roles that I have played earlier and I would continue to do them in future too. When Producers, directors and the casting team selects certain actor to play a character in their show they are very much sure about what they want. So I think the makers of the show have found Akbar in me and that is why I am playing the role of Akbar.

At the Zee Rishtey Awards, it was all about celebrating and honouring the beautiful bond the channel and its stars share with their viewers. An eclectic bunch - of actors, directors, producers, celebrities, members of the media and other dignitaries - was seen enjoying the event held in Mumbai recently.

Asad-Zoya's (Karan Singh Grover and Surbhi Jyoti) sizzling mid-air shikara act and Jodha-Akbar's (Rajat Tokas and Paridhi Sharma) performance were the highlights of the evening. Other acts included Eijaz Khan, Karan Singh Grover, Chetan Hansraj, Ankita Lokhande, Neha Marda and Mahima Makwana. The theme of love was centre stage during the performances of Arjun and Purvi (Rithvik Dhanjani and Asha Negi), Gunjan and Mayank (Roopal Tyagi and Ankit Gera) and Raghu and Shivani (Arhaan Behl and Mansi Srivastav).

Stand-up comedian Sunil Grover entertained with his slapstick humour, poking fun at Gutthi as transgender Baldev and said, 'Gutthi ka phone aaya tha...chaar paise kya aa gaye, dimag kharab ho gaya uska.. kaam dhanda chhod ke, baith ke enjoy kar rahi hai mooyi.' Also, Zoya's (Surbhi Jyoti's) funny shayari took humour to another level.

I eat two kilos of apples and two dozen oranges everyday says TV’s Bheem - Saurav Singh Gurjar

It’s not easy to essay the character of Bheem, one of the pivotal characters in Indian mythology. But for Saurav Singh Gurjar, who plays the role in the telly show Mahabharat, an even bigger challenge is adjusting to life in a big city like Mumbai.

A kickboxing champion and a wrestler, Saurav is quintessentially a small-town boy from Madhya Pradesh. In fact, the offer to act was a big surprise for him. Says he, “Even my forefathers have been associated with wrestling, so being an actor was never on my mind. In fact, I find life in Mumbai tough. It’s very congested. There is no room to walk in apartments and people are always running around or looking out from small windows in their buildings.”

The actor also has to maintain his diet. Standing tall at 6 feet 8 inches, he weighs 135 kilos and is a vegetarian. He says, “My weight is proportionate to my height. Wrestlers in India generally weigh around 127 kilos. I have no medical problems.”

The production house, says Saurav, takes care of his diet. He says, “My day starts with one litre of milk and 45 pieces of soaked badam. For breakfast, I have around six aloo parathas. Lunch consists of one litre dal and dahi, lots of veggies and around 16 rotis. I consume a lot of fruits — around two kilos of apples and oranges everyday. Now, I have started drinking protein shakes too. My dinner is heavier than my lunch, because I can’t sleep without eating properly at night.”

After male lead Ekta replaces dog in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein Show

Every dog has its day and Muthuswami is a perfect example of that adage. The labrador, who was to play an important role in the telly show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, was given a premature retirement with full benefits!
When the lab was brought in for the shot, Shobha Kapoor, producer Ekta Kapoor’s mom liked him so much she took him home.
But Muthuswami had trouble adjusting with another dog, who was already at Jeetendra and Shobha Kapoor’s house. So, he was sent to their son Tusshar’s home. Initially, Muthuswami would travel to the location in one of the family’s swanky cars. But after a few days, Tusshar fell in love with Muthuswami so much that he put an end to the ‘dog labour’.
Divyanka Tripathi, who worked with Muthuswami, also tells us how baby male labradors are naughty and tough to handle. She says, “I already have a pug at home. So I thought I knew the dog psyche when I came on the set. But even after treating Muthuswami to many goodies and keeping him entertained did not work and he continued with his pranks. In fact, labs grow so fast that by now I have worked with seven ‘Muthuswamis’. ”
Meanwhile, the show found a replacement for Muthuswami. Interestingly, lead actor Cezanne Khan was also replaced by Karan Patel in the show.

Will Asad and Zoya fly to New York for three years?

Qubool Hai recently showcased Asad's mother- Dilshad (Shalini Kapoor Sagar), wanting to go and live with her estranged husband- Rashid Ahmed Khan (Vaquar Shaikh) and his second wife Shireen (Surabhi Vanzara). Asad (Karan Singh Grover), who has grown up resenting his father for leaving them, is miffed with his mother for still choosing him over her kids.

Asad hates the fact that his mother is still in love with her husband. He leaves home in a fit of anger, and vows never to talk to her. A birdie from the sets of Qubool Hai told us that the show is apparently gearing up for a three to four year leap, where Asad will move to New York with his better half Zoya.

The new development is probably a result of the recent Television Audience Measurement (TAM) ratings, which have not been too great for the Zee TV show. Compared to all the other shows, the daily soap is far behind in the overall ranking (5830). The writers have tried to make several changes in the script but none have worked so far. Hence, the big leap.
Now, we are not sure as to what will happen post the leap, but the makers are planning to bring in some big twist

Later, Haider apologized to Humaira but Humaira did not show any reaction towards him. Haider will stay at Siddique house as he is a business partner of Rashid and both Humaira and Haider will have a sweet-bitter fight.. Soon a new love story might start between Humaira and Haider.

Pramad denies to give divorce for Kumud

Saraswatichandra (Sphere Origins), the magnificent show on Star Plus, is currently on the peak with some highly interesting twists like Pramad (Aanshul Trivedi) knocking on the door of death and Kumud ( Jennifer Wingett) and Saras (Gautam Rode) trying to rekindle their love all over again.

Now the show is all set to entertain its audience with some more drama.

Saras, who could not inform Kumud about Pramad’s illness, will be shocked to see Kumud walk into the police station to meet Pramad. Although she will not believe in him initially, but seeing him spit blood, she will finally relent and also feel sad about him.

Back home, Kumud will be busy with Kusum’s (Shiny Doshi) engagement when she will get a call from Pramad’s parents that he is acting stubborn and is demanding that he will only take medicine from her hand. A confused Kumud will then take Saras along and as an act of humanity, serve medicine to Pramad and also request him to take medicines in time.

Kumud will soon get a letter by courier mentioning the date for the next hearing in her divorce case. But before she can react happily, on the day of Kusum’s engagement Pramad will turn on their door with gifts as a responsible brother-in-law. Though the family will be shocked but they will pretend to be normal to avoid any kind of drama.

As a source informs, “On the day of the hearing, Saras will ask Kumud’s hand for marriage from her parents to which they will all happily agree. On this Saras will be on cloud nine dreaming about his happy future with Kumud.”

But everything will turn upside down, when, in Court, Pramad will declare that he does not want a divorce from Kumud and is ready to do everything to help their marriage work. On this Kumud and her family will be left shell shocked.

So is this Pramad’ new trick? What will Kumud and Saras do now?

Madhu to save her Unborn child but doubts RK

Now, for the followers of the show, they must be aware that RK (Vivian Dsena) has been disappointed with the news of his wife Madhubala’s (Drashti Dhami) pregnancy.

And as per the latest promos, it’s being shown that Madhu is being pushed off the staircase and then comes the close up shot of RK, suggesting him to be the heartless culprit.

So will Madhu fall and hurt herself? Will she lose her unborn child?

We have all the answers.

As per a reliable source, Madhu and RK will have a fight on the issue of aborting the kid but, it’s not he who will push her off the stairs.

What we hear is that someone else will push her and she will manage to save herself by holding on to the stair railing. But the moment she will turn back after saving herself, she will see RK standing and watching her.

Next, Madhubala will fight battles in her mind wondering if RK can ever do that to her.

Furthermore… there will be a fire scene during the movie shoot where Madhu will get caught in the flames and RK will come as the saviour. This will further add up to the confusion in Madhu’s head.
